Founded over 20 years ago By Norma and Joe hey sweet couple who wanted, to make fresh Italian food right here in New Orleans. Joe was a chef he had a dream of selling his creations as well as some specialty food items in his market and that’s how Nor-Joe’s came to be. Unfortunately they have passed but their legacy lives on Mark and Mary had known the family and wanted their legacy to cary on so they bought the place and kept the name Nor-Joe’s. Some things may have changed for the better of-course, but many have stayed exactly the same. Nor-Joe has been in the community for a quarter century, and has no plans of that changing. So, If your looking for specialty cheese, Prosciutto, As well as a ton of other specialty meats and gourmet sandwiches they even have great selection of wines. My favorite thing from the deli was the mufelatte, it’s seriously legit! I was there on national cannoli day. So the chef whipped up specialty cannolis. Lemon ginger, bananas Foster, Root beer, that Chef Of theirs really knows what he’s doing. Everything we had was amazing, Who2Call gives this place the thumbs up as a must try in New Orleans.
