The Tin Fish, Imperial Beach Pier

A cartoon owl holding a cell phone.

This is a true hidden gem! If you find yourself in Southern California, head down to Imperial Beach. Not only is the  pier is a great spot to meet locals and check out the surf, But most importantly it’s home to The Tin Fish. The Tin Fish is a great spot to stop and have lunch or dinner. The view is spectacular and if you get there at sunset make sure to look for the Emerald flash!  It’s rare but during certain times of the year you can see it. Anyway I digress that’s not what this story is about, its about the food. The food has a  fresh from sea tastes  and is made to order right in front of you. I tried the sword fish and the Mahi Mahi Taco’s both were delish. You could really tell that the staff cared about your experience. People checked on me to make sure everything was in order. the manager Tricia was super friendly and really seemed to care about everyone’s experience.  There where several tables  already eating when I arrived, everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. the best part of the experience was I was in shorts and T-Shirt no need to dress up to get great food just head on down to the Imperial Beach Pier and go the The Tin Fish.
